Information is collected from our users when they register at M-Attendance. Registration is required when creating an M-Attendance account, using any M-Attendance service or promotion. We collect general information like your name, Email address and password of your M-Attendance account. Every customer at M-Attendance may edit or update the registration information or any other information by editing the user record. You must login to the relevant website / App to update the information in the user profile. Employees of an organization may get the registration information through their HR Administrator. If you are using the M-Attendance Mobile App, your employer may enable location tracking technology for time keeping purposes. The PDPA (Personal Data Protection Act) legal basis for processing this information is the contractual obligation to your employer to perform the Services. Through your usage of our time and attendance module, we shall retain and process biometric device logs of the users for the purposes of calculating attendance and payroll using the rules configured by the Customer. The information collected consists of employee- or attendance-id along with timestamps of punches (in and out entries).
There may be blogs, chat rooms and bulletin boards on the Site / App. The personal information selected for submission in such a forum can be collected, read or used by other visitors of the forum. This may be used also for sending inexplicit content to you by fraudulent users. We will not hold the responsibility of protecting the personally identifiable information that you choose to submit in the forums.
We use hi-tech security measures for maintaining the accuracy, protecting customer data from unauthorized access and ensuring appropriate use of the data. As the modern web browsers are also used for accessing the service, the robust transport layer security technology is used for protecting the customer data through data encryption and server authentication.
